Living Tillandsias attached to assorted shells. This adorable display resembles a jellyfish! Super easy to take care of and makes an easy gift for the plant or sea animal enthusiast lover in your life.
The shells have fishing line secured to the top. You can hang it from the fishing line or upside down with the plant facing upwards in a bright filtered light area. Growing in a widow works wonders.
When watering, you can get the entire plant and shell wet but make sure excess water is able to escape.
Plants are assorted. If you have a preference, please leave it in the notes section OR contact us before or after the order has been placed.
We will pack the shipment as carefully as we can, but we can not guarantee that the Alfonso shells will not break during shipment due to their delicate shell. Please understand this risk when purchasing the Alfonso shell. Muffin Snail and Tonna Shell would be a more secure option.
It made a great birthday gift. My girlfriend loved it!

Drimiopsis maculata is an evergreen geophyte found on forest floors and shaded stream banks in eastern southern Africa. Leaves are deeply lobed on slender banded petioles, with dark green spots and wavy margins. Flowers are in a small compact inflorescence. The buds are white and the flowers grey green. This plant flowers between September and April. Grow the bulbs in a well drained, but organic rich medium and keep it moist during the summer growing season. It does fine with year-round watering. The species is winter deciduous and can take light frost, but not a hard freeze. Plant in light shade to part sun. Freckles on leaves will be more colorful in summer.
The potted plants were severely dried out but I think they have finally hydrated. I've had this plant before but lost it to freezing weather. I'll be more mindful of these. They are not readily available at local nurseries here. Thanks for offering them for sale!

A cute hybrid of two miniature species (descoingsii x haworthioides). Tiny, barely reaching three inches across, clump forming with triangular leaves coated on all surfaces with small conical spines. The inflorescence is a 12 inch scape with a cluster of pink-orange to orange-red flowers. Very hardy to drought, some cold, and basic neglect. Great for dish gardens and even suited for dry terrariums. It was developed by John Bleck, crossing to species native to Madagascar.

A hybrid made in the 1970s by Luis Ariza Julia of the Dominican Republic. A cultivar of Til. ariza-juliae x pruinosa, both species native to the Dominican Republic. The plant is a small grower to about 10 inches tall but with terete leaves and a small bulbous base. The color is gray-silver with heavy trichomes.
The inflorescence is a simple spike of pink about half as tall as the foliage. Easily forms clusters and is well suited to mounting. Grow in bright light out of full sun.
