A Grace Goode hybrid of 'Mandela' and an unknown pollen parent. A small, compact grower with broad leaves to two inches wide in a nine inch rosette. The color is dark brownish green with a dark purple veneer.

A spectacular and fairly large grower has an upright open rosette shape to about 24 inches across. The inflorescence is a massive panicle of reddish orange berries that stays in color for many months. Extremely showy.

A hybrid of (bulbosa x streptophylla) by Mark Dimmitt. This interesting plant could be described as a larger bulbosa-type plant with broader, more twisted leaves. Or, as a streptophylla-type plant with shiny and deeply channeled leaves. In other words, a good split of characteristics of both parents.

This hybrid is sometimes found as a natural cross in Guatemala. Grows well mounted, easily forming large clusters of plants. 

Bulbs prefer to be potted in well-draining soil and watered from the side - not directly on the bulb. Leaves sprout in the spring. Can handle strong light.

Tillandsia exserta features a unique and slender shape, with white, arching leaves and a red inflorescence with violet flowers. This species grows in the drier, hotter conditions of Mexico. A unique species of Tillandsia.

This Tropiflora hybrid definitely came out looking more like the H. coerulea parent, with semi-stiff, green, grassy leaves. The leaf margins, although 'spineless', are very sharp and can give a swift ’paper cut’ to the unwary. For something unusual, give one a try!

A woody shrub-like spineless Euphorbia from southern Madagascar, which forms a silver-barked trunk and full crown of branches with narrow dark green/gray leaves.

Most amazing is the size of the caudex it ultimately makes, a gourd-like, woody main root up to 6 inches thick which can be elevated above the soil. Makes a great succulent bonsai subject.

A fairly newly resurrected species related to compressa and fasciculata, native to the State of Veracruz in Mexico. The type locality is near the town of Hidalgotitlán in the seasonally dry, broad leaf forests of the eastern Isthmus of Tehuantepec. A medium sized plant to about 20 inches tall with narrow, tapering leaves in an upright vase shape. The inflorescence is stunning, uprightly branched and bright yellow. An outstanding plant without any special cultural requirements other than typical for Tillandsias.

This fast growing Madagascan pachycaul is the largest of the rutenbergianum group and the most southerly in range. Clusters of violet/white flowers appear in spring before the plant comes out of dormancy. A tree-like pachycaul that is suitable for landscape use. Our plants are seed grown.
