A member of the Passifloraceae, or Passionflower family, this plant is quite rare in collections. It's native habitat ranges from Somalia, eastern Ethiopia and north-eastern Kenya, and prefers a well drained soil and lots of sun. The stem can grow up to 12 inches in diameter while the entire tree can top 7 feet in the wild. The flowers are cream colored.
Fast shipping. The plant was well protected in the box. The plant was healthy with lots of good roots and leaves. Beautiful specimen.
