A selfing of an outstanding miniature Aloe hybrid. It superficially resembles the ‘Doran Black’ with similar coloration. The main difference is the growth habit, more upright than the parent plant, with slightly narrower leaves and more leaves, in an upright rosette. The inflorescence is quite long, 18 inches or so and nodding. The flowers are dark pinkish red, tubular bell shaped with white tips to the petals. Keep in a well draining mix and in warm, bright conditions.

A very nice and robust form of nudicaulis with compact growth when cultivated bright and stressed a little. Reddish leaves are stiff and heavily banded with silver.

A large growing beauty by Stephen Hoppin can grow to a 24 inch rosette. The color is black to dark chocolate brown, glossy with wavy, silvery cross bands. Some silver shading in the leaves. Leaf tips turn downward. 'Ebony Beauty' x (x Roseus)

This cute little stoloniferous miniature has apple green leaves with cherry red tips. The leaf undersides have some gray scurf and light banding. Nice for mounting or a hanging pot due to its stoloniferous habit.

A hardy succulent that is native to Nigeria. It forms a thick cylindrical trunk that can reach 24 inches tall with fleshy leaves. Easy to grow like most Euphorbia species. The sap is toxic like most Euphorbias.

A spiny dwarf shrub from South Africa. Gray-blue to olive green branches with numerous reddish brown spines. Branches at a small size. Can grow to over 12 inches in height. Puts on a nice shows of yellow flowers when blooming. This is considered the minor form.

A miniature only 3 to 4 inches tall in compact rosettes. The leaves are light green with slight speckling of red, red tips that flare outward, and lightly gray banded on the reverse.

A Carole Richtmyer hybrid, a cultivar of 'Earth Angel' x bromelioides 'Red form,' having 18+ lanceolate leaves maturing to a full round form 12-inches in diameter.  The dark and lime green mottled leaves are covered in a very light lineated scurf as the red leaf base clasp the stem.  In stronger light, the leaves will take on colors of orange and red, besides the greens.  Light well defined lines of trichomes cover the undersides of the leaves.

Neoregelia ‘Fireball’ x chlorosticta  A showy, small grower to about 10 inches across in an open rosette, with light green leaves bearing red tips and a blotchy veneer of deep red.

This attractive cultivar of (‘Golden Boy’ x ‘Lehua’) by Vinzant is a small grower reaching only 10 inches across in a compact rosette of inch and a half wide leaves. The color is red with yellow-green blotching and banding. The yellow-green is brighter in the newer growth. A nice brightly colored mini Neo.

A miniature hybrid from Vinzant is a cultivar of ‘Screaming Tiger’ x ‘Doodlebug’. The plant is vase shaped with a slightly flaring top. The color is a deep chocolate burgundy with yellow banding, with the leaf axils almost solid yellow. The banding seems to be in the middle portion of the plant. There is no color change at anthesis. Offsets before anthesis, with offsets on stolons.
