This nice cross by Lisa Vinzant is a cultivar of Neoregelia chlorosticta ‘Marble Throat’ x Sincoraea (formerly Orthophytum) navioides. Of a size rather typical of many xSincoregelias, about 20 inches across or so with many narrow, stiff leaves in a very leafy rosette. The leaves are lime green and tint pinkish in strong light. At anthesis the center leaves blush deep fuchsia pink out the nearly the leaf tips. Flowers are light lavender in a nidular inflorescence.

A bi-generic hybrid by Michael Kiehl. The parents are Sincoraea navioides x Neoregelia lilliputiana. Not a large grower. Matures at 8" to 10" inches across. Grows best in strong light and will turn completely red when grown in these conditions.

A bi-generic hybrid by Jim Pearce. Narrow green channeled leaves that turns red and has yellow blotches as the plant matures. The overall size is 20 inches across. Prefers bright light. As with most xSincoregelias it needs to be watered regularly. xSincoregelias like to be fertilized, so if you are using water soluble fertilize once a month. If you are using time release apply it twice per year.

A bigeneric hybrid of Aechmea fendleri x Ursulaea tuitensis by Jim Irvin. Can grow to over 36 inches across with very stiff, spiny, arching leaves, glossy-green above, silvery-green below, in a widely spreading rosette.The erect inflorescence is tomentose, covered with white scurf and has showy pink bracts. The ovaries are large and swollen and the petals deep purple.
