A new introduction from Chester Skotak for 2023. Medium size plant that develops a bulbous shape. Light green leaves with white margins and bands of red.  Grows best in bright filtered light. We have a very limited supply of this plant.

A miniature hybrid by Lisa Vinzant. Light green with chocolate red bars and bands. In bright filtered light a veneer of dark red covers the leaves. Matures at 8 inches across. Grows best in a hanging pot in bright filtered light.

A Neoregelia olens cultivar from Lisa Vinzant. Small plants with stiff leaves in an upright funnelform rosette, are yellowish-green, suffused with red speckles and red tips. Cup turns crimson at anthesis. The stoloniferous habit makes for a nice full pot specimen or a great hanging basket subject. Grows best in bright filtered light.

A beautiful plant, the work of Grant Groves who is famous for hybridizing vividly colored Neoregelias. A medium sized open rosette that blushes a strong purplish-pink color towards maturity.

This outstanding Skotak hybrid is a cultivar of [(carolinae x concentrica) x ‘Royal Burgundy’] x ‘Royal Burgundy’. A red hot beauty with a reddish-burgundy overall color and darker medio-picta variegation. The variegation blushes a vivid, even brilliant red, giving the plant a glowing look. Beautiful, a must-have for your collection.

A 2023 Chester Skotak release! A medium/large size variegated plant that grows to 18 inches across. It is a rosette of overlapping leaves that recurve down. The margins of the leaves are white. The plant is highly colored with a red veneer. The veneer has numerous color breaks in the form of spots which gives the plant that head turner look.

A medium size grower. Green colored leaves that develop a purple veneer. The purple veneer is broken by many greenish yellow spots. Blushes purple at anthesis. Makes a nice landscape plant.

This early Skotak hybrid is a cultivar of ‘Fireball’ x ?. Unreported parentage. A small beauty almost the same size and shape of the ‘Fireball’ parent, with the same stoloniferous habit. A nicely variegated plant with reddish leaves in good light and light white to pinkish variegation.

The variegation is in the form of multiple thin stripes or lineations up the center of each leaf. It is a great plant for hanging baskets, for mounting and for use in terrariums.

A nifty small grower to about 8 inches across. The foliage is glossy red with many green speckles. Makes an attractive hanging pot plant.

A handsome species that should be more widely grown, has an open rosette shape about 12 inches across, coppery green with heavy markings of dark brown to almost black and dark leaf tips. Fragrant flowers.
