This outstanding Skotak hybrid is a cultivar of [(carolinae x concentrica) x ‘Royal Burgundy’] x ‘Royal Burgundy’. A red hot beauty with a reddish-burgundy overall color and darker medio-picta variegation. The variegation blushes a vivid, even brilliant red, giving the plant a glowing look. A 2024 release from Chester Skotak. Large growing to 20 inches across. Medium green base with wide white variegation. It has a red veneer with color breaks. The color breaks appear as dots and bands of white. Grows best in bright filtered light.

This is a plant that has been around for some time without a name. A hybrid from Rafael DeFaria. Olive green leaves with white variegation. A dusty orange red veneer develops at a early age. There are spots of white in the veneer.

Neoregelia 'Superball'

A Neo. ‘Fireball‘ x carolinae ‘Dwarf’ hybrid, at about 10 inches is larger than the original ‘Fireball’, and flushes a nice red in strong light. Good in terrariums and its stoloniferous habit makes this a particularly good subject for hanging basket culture. Popular with landscapers.

A medium size grower. Green colored leaves that develop a purple veneer. The purple veneer is broken by many greenish yellow spots. Blushes purple at anthesis. Makes a nice landscape plant.

Neoregelia 'UFO'

First released at the 2016 WBC in Houston, Texas. Green leaves with white margins. The tops of the leaves are covered with tiny red speckles and the undersides of the leaves are banded in red. If you like a bright white miniature Neoregelia, this is the one for you. Looks especially nice in a hanging pot.








Neoregelia 'Zoe'

This early Skotak hybrid is a cultivar of ‘Fireball’ x ?. Unreported parentage. A small beauty almost the same size and shape of the ‘Fireball’ parent, with the same stoloniferous habit. A nicely variegated plant with reddish leaves in good light and light white to pinkish variegation.
The variegation is in the form of multiple thin stripes or lineations up the center of each leaf. It is a great plant for hanging baskets, for mounting and for use in terrariums.
