A medium to large growing hybrid. Thick succulent silver grey leaves with white spines. Makes a dense rosette. Grows best in bright light. bright light

One of Lisa Vinzant's colorful hybrids. The leaves are medium green and has cream variegation. As the plant grows it develops a glossy intense red veneer that is broken with spots of yellow white. Grows to a average of 20 inches across. Grows best in bright filtered light.

Tillandsia extensa, a terrestrial from the upper slopes of the Rio Chancay has red leaves when grown in full sun. The infloresence is a massive, multi-branched panicle that is sometimes used a Christmas tree locally. Mature at about 24 inches the species seems to adapt well to cultivation and may be grown potted or mounted.

A Grace Goode hybrid of 'Mandela' and an unknown pollen parent. A small, compact grower with broad leaves to two inches wide in a nine inch rosette. The color is dark brownish green with a dark purple veneer.

A very unusual short and rambling species with terete stems and leaves. The flowers are white to pink with nicely flaring, somewhat ruffled petals and sepals and a deep rose lip. Makes a great patio or landscape plant.

Tropiflora's hybrid of rothii x xerographica, created here at the nursery years ago by Ray Lemieux.

A select seedling from seed from Constantino Gastaldi. The burgundy, green leaves are narrow with sharp spines. Grows to a mature size of 10 inches across. Grows best in high light to full sun. Please remember that Dyckias, like most terrestrial bromeliads, like to be kept hydrated during the drier months.
