Azalea Pots
AZPOT-2
Somewhat squat plastic pots, three quarters as tall as wide, with drainage holes. This is the most common style of pot that we use here at Tropiflora and are pretty much the “industry standard” for most production of tropical plants and succulents.
We only stock in forest green. We do not carry other colors.
I love them! Great colors.
Bananas You Can Grow
B44
I was given a copy by the creator of the book and it’s a must have for tropical enthusiasts!
Great plant. the only problem is that in order to get the brom to show red is to put it in direct sun, BUT this is tricky. Too much sun, they burn, too little sun they turn green.
Bowiea volubilis
709
Known as the 'Sea Onion', a bizarre caudiciform from Southern and East Africa which grows bulb-like with a peeling green caudex which can reach about six inches in diameter. The seasonal 'foliage' is actually a filamentous vining inflorescence in the brightest shade of green. This can be trained onto a trellis or left to hang from a basket. Grow in partial shade in a well draining media.
Bowiea was better looking than I expected.

An interesting little shrub-like, caudiciform tree from Oaxaca, Mexico with a thickly swollen trunk and tan to reddish peeling bark. The dense branches have small obovate, deciduous leaves and bear tiny, aromatic fruits. Great for bonsai work. The leaves may turn bright colors if exposed to cool temps in the fall of the year.

A mound forming miniature lithophytic or terrestrial species from Bolivia and Argentina. Formerly known as Abromeitiella lorentziana, the plant is a mounding species which forms many ‘heads’, each about two inches across. The leaves are stiff and thickly succulent, acutely triangular and very sharply pointed. Normally green in cultivation, it may blush a gray to rusty red in full sun. The flower is without a scape and is deep green. Easy to grow in well-drained soil in bright light to full sun.
