Tillandsia 'Miami Nice'
7292
A handsome hybrid of (capitata x fasciculata ‘Magnificent’) by Steve Correale with a 20 inch spreading rosette of fasciculata-type foliage, stiff and rather narrow, reddish and showing some banding on the undersides. The inflorescence is a red spike of short branches reaching about 10 inches tall.

Tillandsia 'Mission to Mars'

Tillandsia flabellata 'Giant Red' x concolor
*VIPP plants are Offsets

Tillandsia 'Mixtec Treasure'
5779
A beautiful cross of chiapensis x botterii, two southern Mexican species, by Steve Correale. A fairly large plant to over twelve inches tall with silvery leaves that taper to fine points forming a graceful vase shaped rosette. The inflorescence is multi-branched, taller than the foliage, with a central branch longer than the others, which are curved inward. The color is deep red fading slowly to greenish, all with a coat of silver trichomes, very attractive.

Tillandsia 'Mudlo'
184
An Australian made hybrid of (intermedia x ionantha) by Margaret Paterson. If you are familiar with T. intermedia, you will know that it is a famously proliferating plant, producing offsets from the top of the inflorescence as well as from the base. Well this plant combined with ionantha has produced some unusual but possible predictable results. Singly the plants look a bit like a tall ionantha and upon blooming it will blush red. However it will often surprise and delight by producing one or more offsets from the apex of the plant and successive bloomings will produce an odd, connected cluster of plants.

Tillandsia 'Mystic Burgundy'
2764
A cross of (albertiana x muhriae) by Mark Dimmitt. An interesting plant with semi-terete succulent leaves in an attenuated rosette. The foliage is reddish-green, finely lineated and loosely arranged on a 3 to 4 inch stem. Large deep pink flowers. Seldom offered.

Tillandsia 'Mystic Rainbow'
2721
A miniature hybrid of (albertiana x arequitae) by Mark Dimmitt. A fascinating beautiful hybrid with large peach to lavender colored flowers to 2 inches in diameter. Foliage is stiff and silvery in an upright, loose rosette of a dozen leaves.
A choice little hybrid, rarely offered.

Tillandsia 'Naranja'
8016
A clone of capitata from Steve Correale, as best as we can ascertain. It could be a hybrid or a cross of different clones of the species, but for sure it is a nice, large, colorful plant. An open rosette of arching green leaves with silvery trichomes and a slight blush of red. The inflorescence is capitate with long bracts of pinkish-orange. Very colorful and long lasting.

Tillandsia 'Nellie Rose'
3000
A John Arden hybrid of (jalisco-monticola x capitata). A tough and showy plant with leathery reddish leaves in a symmetrical, very leafy rosette. The inflorescence is a tight cluster of many dark orange branches in a capitate head with long scape bracts exceeding the branches. Very long lasting in color. A heavy plant, tough and sturdy, easy to grow. Grows well mounted or potted in a fast draining mix with good aeration.

Tillandsia 'Nice Enough'
1903
A hybrid of (caput-medusae x balbisiana) definitely leaning more to the T. caput-medusae parent. A bulbous base with long and twisting leaves that are more terete than flat.
The inflorescence is a cluster of bright red branches on a short scape. The plant is silvery with trichomes, but has a reddish blush in strong light and at anthesis.

The picture of tillandsia nice enough does not do it justice. Such a cute, fat bottom. I love all my plants purchased at Tropiflora. Health, sizes appropriate for cost and always packaged for safe delivery.
Tillandsia 'Padre'
7345
A beautiful cross by Bob Spivey of (roland-gosselinii x chiapensis). It has the fuzzy, velvety look of chiapensis, but an inflorescence that betrays the cross. A fairly short red scape bearing long branches that are red on bottom and bright green on top, with blue flowers. The foliage is silvery, tinted pinkish in strong light. A real beauty. About 16 to 18 inches wide and nearly as tall when in bloom.

Tillandsia 'Peach Parfait'
8451

Tillandsia 'Perfectly Peachy'
2068
A cultivar of (capitata ‘Peach’ x concolor). A handsome, medium sized plant with an open rosette shape of fairly stiff, recurving, channeled, gray leaves. The inflorescence is about 12 inches tall, with long bracts and a clustered head of short, shiny, reddish branches and beautiful blue flowers. The upper part of the plant blushes peach color at anthesis.
