A nice cross of T. (chiapensis x fasciculata) with stiff trichome-covered grayish-green leaves. The inflorescence is in the shape of a fasciculata and branched but light pink in color like the chiapensis bloom.

A fairly rare plant in cultivation is a denizen of inland forests in the northern Mexican states of Sinaloa and Sonora. This plant is hummingbird pollinated and has a branched pink scape with tubular flowers. The plant is about 6 inches tall with somewhat stiff, silvery leaves in an upright rosette.

A nice hybrid of stricta x leonamiana with silvery-white leaves in a full rosette that can reach 10 inches across in larger specimens. The inflorescence is fairly stricta-like, about 6 inches long and nodding. The bracts are bright pink frosted with silver on the tips. A choice plant!

A branching form of a Euphorbia originating from Central Africa. Dark green stems with yellow variegation. Has small yellow flowers that emerge on the tips of the branches. Grows best in bright light to full sun.

This Tropiflora hybrid definitely came out looking more like the H. coerulea parent, with semi-stiff, green, grassy leaves. The leaf margins, although 'spineless', are very sharp and can give a swift ’paper cut’ to the unwary. For something unusual, give one a try!
