A cultivar of (calyculata x recurvata) is a tough and handsome small grower that keeps a compact shape in varying light conditions. The recurvata parent lends an upright, compact, vase-like shape, and the calyculata parent adds the bright yellow flowering inflorescence. Nice for landscape around boulders.

A spectacular and fairly large grower has an upright open rosette shape to about 24 inches across. The inflorescence is a massive panicle of reddish orange berries that stays in color for many months. Extremely showy.

A large, robust clone of Ae. recurvata var. ortgiesii, with a tight, bulbous shape with the classic 'thumbprints' and narrow leaves flaring out. Light green, blushing coppery orange. The inflorescence bears lavender flowers. A large grower for recurvata, reaching 12 inches tall. Full sun tolerant and fairly cold hardy too, a great landscape plant.

A clone of this wide spread species that we collected some years ago in Guatopo, Venezuela. This one differs from other clones we have, mainly in having a larger inflorescence. It bears quite a few yellow branches with very large rose-red bracts. Growing to 3 feet tall or a bit more and about as wide. The inflorescence is long lasting and this is a good landscape plant. Grows well mounted in trees in zone 9B and above.
