This hybrid of (kolbii x bulbosa) by Grace Goode is one of only a few that she made, having been much more prolific with Neoregelia. An unusual cross using T. kolbii which is rarely seen in hybrids. (In fact, this is the only one we can find). T. kolbii is an ionantha-like, small grower and it gives its influence in the cross mainly with the inflorescence. The inflorescence is light pink, branched and held low amongst the leaves, with very long, leaf-like scape bracts. The general aspect of the plant is similar to the bulbosa parent, bulbous based, terete leaves held erect. At anthesis the scape bracts blush deep pinkish red. a
A pretty hybrid of fasciculata 'Tropiflora' x 'Fire Orange'. The frosted pink branched inflorescence is from the Tropiflora parent. Leaves are gray and lightly scurffed. The compact shape is similar to the 'Fire Orange'. A nice mix of two beautiful plants.

A form of the widely variable species from Brazil that has reddish-coppery leaves in a very leafy, somewhat caulescent rosette. The plants form clusters with many offsets. The inflorescence has reddish bracts and white flowers with an open corolla.
A hybrid of (albertiana x zecheri). An interesting and somewhat variable plant with a 6 inch stem covered with dark purple-green, shiny leaves or sometimes silvery gray leaves. The inflorescence is short with purple flowers. A colorful plant that makes clusters of offsets. Very easy to cultivate mounted or hanging from a string.
A superior version of the typical T. fasciculata with stiff greenish gray leaves in an upright rosette and a multi-branched spike of red, yellow and orange. Very nice!
A new Tropiflora hybrid, with "new" being the relative term. Back in 2010 Tropiflora employee Ray Lemieux crossed copanensis with fasciculata 'Tropiflora' and we have been growing out the seedlings ever since, patiently waiting for the mature plant to bloom. Wow, it does not disappoint! A large grower reaching 3 and 1/2 feet across with a 2 foot bloom spike boasting many branched colorful bracts. A stunning plant.

Formerly Tillandsia pucarensis this species from Peru is a fairly large plant with semi-soft gray foliage and an erect simple or barely branched pink inflorescence. The narrow leaves form a leafy, upright rosette. This clone came to us from Germany with the accession code of BOE0A456.
A surprising little plant from Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest. Growing in colonies of a few to many dozen plants, a small clump may resemble Til. recurvata until it flowers. Don't worry about confusing the two, though, as mallemontii is nearly always covered with many large purple, fragrant flowers. Certainly one of the easiest of all Tillandsias to grow. Enjoys good air circulation, medium to bright shaded conditions and frequent watering with fast drying. May be mounted or just suspended from a string for wonderful results.
