Chanin Thorut found this Cryptanthus in a shipment that he received from Tropiflora nursey of zonatus that he had grown out. One of the plants sported variegated offsets. Having 10+ lanceolate leaves, the plant forms a medium to large flat open oval to 20″ in diameter. The green leaves are marked with a cream to butter yellow longitudinal stripe down the center of the leaves and are marked with regularly spaced crossbands. The undersides of the leaves are covered in a medium dense white scurf.
