A cultivar of ( Pitcairnia smithiorum x Deuterocohnia brevispicata) by Bryan Windham. Nearly spineless, long, slender, green foliage covered with silver scurffing. Not sure how large this one will grow or what the inflorescence will look like. Cultivate as a terrestrial bromeliad, bright shade, even moisture.

A Sandy Antle hybrid, a cultivar of 'Kent's Haze' x zonatus (aka fosterianus), having 10+ lanceolate leaves forming a large 24-inch open round plant. The golden-brown base color has darker tones growing richer toward the leaf tips is covered with metallic gold bars and swirls of scurf .

Hechtias are one of the succulent, almost agave-like bromeliads. Though spiny, Hechtias make an attractive rock garden subject in warmer climates. Grown in full sun or very bright light Hechtias will take on a flush of pinkish-orange to almost red color. Potting mix should be well drained soil, some sand is recommended as Hechtias are terrestrial.

Aechmea 'Saturn V'

A new hybrid by Bryan Windham. It's a cross between Aechmea chantinii 'Black' x Aechmea brassicoides. The center of the plant is an upright rosette of burgundy chocolate, slightly overlapping leaves that are heavily scurfed. At anthesis the red bracted inflorescence comes out the center of the plant. A truly unique and bizarre looking plant.
