This plant was introduced by Eloise Beach as Sincoraea sp. EB2B. When it blooms, it looks very similar to what we have as Sincoraea heleniceae SEL2003-0253 but with a greenish white-yellow ring surrounding the sessile inflorescence with the remaining outer band of foliage flushing a deep red. When not in bloom, it differs only by having fewer leaves that are also longer and wider than the S. heleniceae Selby clone. It could even be a new clone or possibly a new species.
