A lovely species from Panama and adjacent tropical areas where it grows as an epiphyte. Medium sized to about 16 inches across in an upright rosette of green or reddish-tinted leaves. The inflorescence is very showy with bright pink bracts and blue flowers. Does best potted in a good draining mix.
