A choice and rare variegated form of this small growing epiphytic Hylaeaicum from Amazonian Ecuador. Actually such rare variegated forms as this are no longer so ‘little’ as they have been ‘pushed’ hard to produce more and have grown quite a bit larger than ones that occur in nature. Still, if grown a bit hard it will take on a bulbous shape with extra-long stolons and will thrive in a hanging pot. This form is green with white variegations in the center of the leaf and a contrasting cherry red center when blooming. Unlike many other Hylaeaicum species, this one likes to be kept moist and is somewhat sensitive about water quality. Keep warm in winter.
