An unusual clone of this spineless species with glaucous-green foliage, rather than the typical glabrous or glossy green. A stoloniferous plant to about 24 inches across with 1.5 inch wide leaves. Usually found growing on the ground where it forms large mats of plants. This clone was collected by David Benzing in Marica, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as a terrestrial in resting habitat at sea level and can be considered salt tolerant. Our plant has the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens accession number of SEL 1996-0562.
