The ‘Persian Carpet Flower’ of east Africa. An Asclepiad with five angled, many-branched stems of dark chocolate brown mottled with light green. This species produces a very large flower to about three inches across, burgundy with golden yellow flecks and green tips. A very attractive and easy species.
