THIS PLANT IS ON C.I.T.E.S. AND CANNOT BE EXPORTED

A new form of this Madagascan species that may end up being described as a new taxa altogether. The name literally means ‘densely flowered’ and indeed many are produced prolifically in clusters on long stems. Normally stunningly yellow, this new form has flowers of burnt orange. This species is one of the most desirable and interesting of the Pachypodiums and a delight for collectors and a must-have for the caudex lover. Its silvery trunk has short spines and forms a thick caudex, which branches early. With maturity the plant adds much girth, many branches and very little height. The foliage is somewhat gray/green and slightly rugose.
