A lush growing form of the species that does not have a type locality reported but the species in general is restricted more or less to Southeastern Brazil where it grows as an epiphyte or lithophyte. This form has especially thin branches and short internodes creating a very full plant. Only slightly spreading, the softer branches tend to make this species mainly a pendant species. Flowers are few-petaled and greenish-white turning deep yellowish after anthesis, a distinguishing characteristic for this form.
