This Brazilian species is found as a lithophyte in Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo. A more woody stemmed plant than some others with short segments of about 4 inches, each with three or four angles. A very handsome species that holds more shape than others that just hang limply. A freely branching habit and short internodes makes a very full specimen. Flowers are large for a Rhipsalis, over a half inch, white and sometimes in small clusters. Fruit becomes pink and nearly clear.
Note: This plant is on C.I.T.E.S. and can not be exported.
