A hybrid of (concolor x roland-gosselinii) by Bill Timm. A knock out with broad, stiff, recurving leaves in a full rosette. The color is silvery with a reddish blush in strong light. The inflorescence is branched, not too tall, and yellow. An extremely nice plant! 

A cultivar of (stricta x aeranthos) by Woods. It is a medium sized plant to about six inches across with narrow, silvery-green leaves. The inflorescence is very colorful, dark pink bracts and deep, inky-blue flowers. Grows easily mounted and will form attractive clusters. 

Tillandsia 'Kaylan' (caputmedusae x baileyi) A cute hybrid with a nice mix of both parents. An easy grower, likes bright filtered light.

Paul Isley's cross 'Kendra' is a cultivar of bulbosa x baileyi. A vigorous hybrid that looks a bit like the baileyi parent but is much larger and more robust. The bulbous base is like that of the bulbosa and the terete leaves are silvery and sinuous. The inflorescence is quite tall, at least as long as the leaves and it branched, pinkish, with a silvery finish. Grows to about 18 inches tall, taller than either parent plant. 

An interesting hybrid of (capitata x extensa) by Steve Correale. Steve has been a fairly prolific hybridizer over the years but has registered few of his crosses. He does them to please himself, which is not such a bad thing, and doesn’t care much for naming them.

This plant has much more the look of the extensa parent, with long, narrow leaves and an excessively long inflorescence. Very long, pink and silver scape bracts and upright pink branches clustered at the top of the scape make it a showy plant. The foliage is dark reddish-brown but subtle, coated with silver trichomes that give it a pinkish tint. Easy to grow mounted. 

A spectacular hybrid by Steve Correale is a cultivar of chiapensis x botterii.  A large grower with a loose rosette shape that can reach 30 inches across and 20 inches tall.  The leaves are thick and leathery, heavily scurfed with silver trichomes, silvery but tinting pink in strong light.  The inflorescence can be 30 inches tall with long, thick, upright and curving branches of pink.  Bizarre and different but also beautiful.

Bill Timm’s hybrid is a cultivar of (caputmedusae x streptophylla). Most definitely a hybrid, but showing little influence of the streptophylla parent. It has a bulbous base and terete leaves but they are not as curly as caputmedusae or streptophylla or hardly at all. The inflorescence is tall with upright branches that are slender and glabrous, mainly orange in color. A truly handsome plant that is easy to cultivate. 

An especially cute little hybrid by Paul Isley. A cultivar of Tillandsia pueblensis x ionantha. Like most Tillandisa hybrids with ionantha, it tends to favor that species. However, it does have a good resemblance to the pueblensis parent with longer, thicker leaves. The overall shape is upright with a long stem and three inch, deeply channeled leaves tapering to a point growing upright along the stem. The color is deep green dusted with abundant silvery trichomes.

The inflorescence, deep rose in color, is a short, upright, scape rising slightly above the foliage. Flowers are deep blue. Forms clusters and will tint slightly in bright light but does not blush when blooming. A great little plant.
