Hechtia guatemalensis Honduras Found from southern Mexico to Honduras. A species reaching 12 to 24 inches with green leaves bearing a light scurf and moderate spines in a full rosette. Like many terrestrials, this species will grow larger in a large pot or in the ground.
In full sun this species takes on a somewhat peach coloration. The inflorescence, typical of the genus, is a many branched spike with clusters of tiny white flowers. This clone comes from plants we collected in central Honduras.
