THIS PLANT IS ON C.I.T.E.S. AND CANNOT BE EXPORTED
We are not sure of the species of this interesting, epiphytic cactus. It resembles Lepismium cruciflorme and may be a variant of that species. The stems are multi-angled to flat, grayish-green with a red tint in strong light. The areoles have some wooly spines and bear open, pure white flowers. We got this species from the late Dr. Hans Wiehler of the Gesneriad Research Foundation, one that he had collected in Brazil.
These are the seedlings grown from the Hans Wiehler clone.
