This bizarre bi-generic hybrid by Chester Skotak is a cultivar of Quesnelia edmundoi v. edmundoi x Aechmea tessmannii (white form) is a thick and robust grower, squat with strictly upright leaves in a tight but fat tubular rosette. The leaves are green, thick and leathery with large marginal spines that are not really very sharp. Offsets are produced on sturdy stolons about 6 to 8 inches long. The inflorescence is held erect above the foliage and is a stout rachis with four or five upright branches, each thick like fingers and about 3 to 4 inches long. The inflorescence color is pale yellow turning whitish over time.
