This native of Bahia, Brazil is a former Streptocalyx, though it doesn’t look at all like the other former Streptocalyx from the Amazon basin and Andes foothills. A green-leaved plant to about 18 inches or so, with an inflorescence bearing green branches with spreading white flowers. This is one for the collectors. Previously called Aechmea curranii.
