A cultivar of the hybrid (xiphioides x stricta) by Mark Dimmitt. A fairly large grower to about 12 inches tall and wide with many narrow, stiff, silvery leaves in a symmetrical rosette. The inflorescence is erect with well spaced flowers and large bracts. The flowers resemble that of the xiphioides parent with a wide open corolla and wavy margined petals but the color is light blue. The inflorescence is pale green, including the scape bracts.
Fragrant flowers (smells like lemongrass)
