This is but one of many color forms of Sincoraea (previously Orthophytum) burlemarxii to be found in the Chapada Diamantina of Bahia, Brazil. This one features greenish narrow leaves and a flaming red center flush with a nidular head of sessile white flowers. Size can vary from under 12 inches to over 24 due to nutrients and other cultural factors. All sizes seem to color equally well. This clone was originally grown from wild seed collected by DJC/RC in the escarpment of Serra da Larguinha.
