An enigmatic species from the eastern foothills of the Andes of Ecuador and Peru that resembles similar but unrelated species of eastern Brazil. It has many pendant branches, each segment elongate to one inch wide and three inches long, very flat and thin. Margins are broadly serrulate with many yellowish flowers produced.
