A species with very fine stems, heavily branching with short internodes which are slightly clavate. The flowers are white, somewhat bell shaped and borne at the tips of the stems. Fruits in this species are characteristically red or orange. Known from the Atlantic Forest of eastern Brazil in the area of Campos Porto in the Serra de Itatiaya. Makes a very full plant in a hanging pot.
