A Madagascan species who’s name literally means ‘densely flowered’. The flowers indeed are produced prolifically in clusters on long stems, and are stunningly yellow. But for a caudex lover, they are just icing on the cake. This species is one of the most desirable and interesting of the Pachypodiums and a delight for collectors and a must-have for the caudex lover. Its silvery trunk has short spines and forms a thick caudex, which branches early. With maturity the plant adds much girth, many branches and very little height. The foliage is somewhat gray/green and slightly rugose.
Note: This plant is on C.I.T.E.S. and can not be exported.
