This is a plant which was collected some years ago by RL Frasier in Brazil but there is some question about it's true identity. The leaves are somewhat broad, about 1.5 to 2 inches and are apple green with a red apiculate tip. The stunning feature is the vivid fuchsia coloration in the center at anthesis. A choice and not commonly seen species.
