Aptly named, an older Lum hybrid without reported parentage is a beauty. The broad leaves are glossy, dark chestnut brown with longitudinal bands of fiery red that bleeds through the brown veneer. The look is like molten lava. There are narrow silver crossbands that are quite faint and the leaf undersides are coated with silvery-white trichomes. A fairly large grower to about 18 inches across.
