A 2021 release from Chester Skotak! A unique and beautiful hybrid made by crossing two Bromelia species from Brazil (villosa x rosea). Both parents are rare in collections. The leaves are narrow with spines along the edges. Bronze green in color with a copper pink veneer as the plant matures. At anthesis the center leaves turn red and have an inner ring of frosted white leaf axils. The compound semi-raised inflorescence has frosted white floral bracts and a white indument with a crown of dark purple flowers. A truly spectacular plant to look at when in bloom!
