A natural hybrid between a Nidularium and a Neoregelia that had been originally described as a Nidularium. When Elton Leme did his revision of the Nidulariums, he reassigned this taxa on evidence of Neoregelia influence. A nice plant with light green, fairly wide leaves in an open rosette to about 24 inches across. The inflorescence bears bracts as with a Nidularium, but the center also blushes as with most Neoregelia species, pinkish-red in this plant.
