One of the most beautiful and popular of all bromeliads. Native to the lower slopes of the Andes and the western Amazon basin from Venezuela to Peru, it is a warm growing epiphyte that climbs over the trunks and limbs of trees on stout stolons.
This clone has deep-green leaves, evenly banded with silver and is the typical form as most often seen in nature. The form is an upright vase-shaped rosette, becoming somewhat bottle shaped before blooming. A full inflorescence of crimson branches, tipped with yellow petals and long crimson bracts makes a long lasting show. Very easy to grow potted, mounted or in a hanging basket. Does need protection from freezing temperatures but otherwise is a hardy species for semi-shaded areas.

Basically this species looks like a larger growing aeranthos, however it is also possible that this is another species, similar to aeranthos, but not the same. A caulescent plant with green to bronzy 3-inch long leaves.
The inflorescence is an extended scape with pink bracts and deep inky-blue flowers. Forms large clusters of plants that will bloom simultaneously in its season.
Arrived quickly and in great shape. It’s a nice addition to my tillandsia collection.

A caulescent species with a stem to over two feet long with very stiff, thick, spreading, almost succulent, red leaves. The inflorescence consists of a rose-red scape with 3 to 6 narrow, silvery branches, the whole extending over a foot. Native to Veracruz, Mexico where it grows as an epiphyte in small trees under semi-arid conditions. Easy to cultivate.

A unique yellow-blushing clone of Tillandsia ionantha with white flowers. When in bloom, the whole top of the plant turns a bright golden yellow instead of red. A beautiful sight! Found amongst plants imported from Veracruz, Mexico by Drew Schulz and later named ‘Druid’ by her husband in her honor, adding a twist of mystery as well.
Easy to grow as the ‘normal’ form and thus far, completely stable.
A spectacular Brazilian bromeliad which reaches impressive sizes, suitable for landscaping and interiorscape use. A wide leaved, funnel-form rosette to well over 30 inches with bluish-green leaves, reticulated and striated with light green. As the plant matures, the striations become almost white. A slow grower that makes a great terrarium plant when young.
One fantastic plant! This is a cross of Neo ‘Royal Burgundy‘ with Sincoraea navioides, made by Herb Hill. A mature plant can reach over 30 inches across with dozens of deep-burgundy leaves in a dense rosette. One of the best-ever xSincoregelias. Can adapt to full sun and makes a great landscape plant.

A really pretty hybrid from Chester Skotak, growing in a symmetrical, overlapping, 12 to 14 inch rosette. The leaves are green suffused with pink, and have bright .25 inch wide pink margins. Blush color at anthesis is bright florescent pink.
