This is one of the carcharodon-types that includes Tiger, Rainbow, Giant, Silver, etc. This clone was first introduced by R.L. Frasier and was reportedly found in a dump north of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1983. A large grower to about 30 inches across with very broad leaves and great looking large black spines. The color is kind of tan, to pinkish over green with very faint silver banding. The apiculate leaf tips are black. A showy plant with great landscape potential.
