When grown ‘hard’, that is without excess fertilizer and in bright locations (up to full sun!) it takes on a vivid yellow color, with dark burgundy concentric bands. Very stunning and well suited to landscape use. Mature plants are about 15 to 20 inches across. Native to the Atlantic Forest of Eastern Brazil.
