A handsome slender species with narrow leaves about 12 inches long. The leaves have few, small spines and are silvery-green. A rare and fairly new species.




Dyckia marnierlapostollei hybrid

A fairly large grower, to about 12 inches across, with very wide recurving leaves and serrate spines resembling the marnierlapostolle parent. Colors range from reddish with white spines to all silver. Outstanding silver beauties! Some have serrate spines resembling the marnierlapostolle parent, others have larger, stouter ones.








Dyckia microcalyx SEL1996-0213

A handsome, spiny species from far south Brazil to Paraguay and Argentina. An open rosette of recurving, inch wide leaves that are green with just a hint of silver. Marginal spines are large and pale colored. A robust grower that produces many offsets. Our plant came from the Departmento Paraguari of Paraguay and has the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens accession number of SEL1996-0213.

Dyckia teresinae (green clone)

A new introduction for 2024. The plant that we are offering were grown from wild collected seed. The plant forms a large rosette, to over 12in across, with recurving stiff chartreuse leaves that have really large white hooked spines. Very attractive. Mature size is 12 to 14 inches across. We originally believe this plant to be a clone of Dyckia burle-marxii.

A species that is native to Mexico. It locality was unknown until recently. A very fine species with thickly succulent, very silvery and spiny leaves. Grows to 20 inches across. Prefers bright light to full sun.
