THIS PLANT IS ON C.I.T.E.S. AND CANNOT BE EXPORTED
A fantastic plant that forms a lumpy, thick trunk with short branches. Short spines are clustered near the ends of the branches in older specimens, but are stout and conical in young plant. Young plants resemble Pachypodium brevicaule but the plants grow taller. The flowers are large and pure white. Thought to be related to and possibly a variation of P. eburneum, but equally, many believe it to be a new species.
