An especially attractive clone of this beautiful species that has an extraordinary amount of white in its pattern. This is a selection by Chester Skotak, so it’s not surprising it has a weird name! Vriesea ospinae v. gruberi from Colombia is a plant that we were instrumental in helping to bring into cultivation years ago.
A very attractive plant, with a delicate pattern of reticulations in light green, over a background of white. When in bloom, it has a very nice and colorful yellow, well branched inflorescence. One of our more popular ones.
