A species of Northwestern Madagascar, dwelling along a limestone escarpment in the region of Ankarana. Though this rare species is most often listed as a caudiciform, it is actually an un-branched stem-succulent with a somewhat stout stem. Clusters of showy, pinkish and green flowers precede a crown of pubescent leaves. Seed grown plants.
