I’ve been searching for this plant since I acquired one a few years ago. After years of searching for the proper ID. As well as another specimen. Finally I found one on your website. I was thrilled to find it available and overjoyed to open the box and hold it in my hands. The Hub did not disappoint. The plant l received is absolutely beautiful. A choice hybrid from Mark Dimmit is an unusual cross of (roseoscapa x bulbosa). Taking characteristics of both parents, it has an upright vase shape with a somewhat bulbous base. Grown 'hard' the bulbous base is more pronounced. The leaves are many, semi-terete, slightly undulating and green with a light gray scurf. The inflorescence is tall with long, leaf-like scape bracts that blush pink and a cluster of six or so fairly long, upright pink branches. Flowers are light blue. Easy to grow and long lasting in color.Text
A large growing and spectacular hybrid by John Arden is a cultivar of (jalisco monticola x roland-gosselinii). A graceful, arching rosette of narrow, silvery leaves, reaching over 24 inches in diameter. The inflorescence is a tall scape to over 2 feet tall, with a cluster of inflated branches, red on the bottom becoming green on top. Very showy and long lasting in bloom.
A newer cyanea hybrid. Grows to a height of 16 inches. The inflorescence is a bright pink lavender paddle like shape. The flowers are fragrant. Grows best potted
