Glowing coppery-red best describes the color of this vivid compact Neo. Some red speckling in the leaves give it character and the small size of 10 to 12 inches lets it fit nicely on your garden room shelf.

A Sharon Peterson hybrid of (correia-araujoi x ‘Charm’). A beauty 24 to 30 inches across with leaves nearly 4 inches wide. Leaf color is red with lots of yellow mottling throughout. Blooms with a red center. Needs fairly strong light to take on best color.

A miniature hybrid from Lisa Vinzant is a cultivar of lilliputiana x (‘Fireball’ x olens). Light green colored leaves that have slight red flecking and random bands. Offsets form on long stolons. Best for hanging pot culture. No color change at anthesis.

A SKOTAK release from 2020! A medium size plant that grows to 20 inches across. The leaves are dark green/black with wide white variegation. The leaves have tightly spaces broken bands of red. This one is bright and a really nice stand out plant.

A green growing species from Bullis Bromeliads. This one grows to a width of 30 inches. It has wide leaves of solid green that have bands and spots of blue black. At anthesis the center turns a vibrant purple.

Neoregelia 'Midas'

 

A medium sized hybrid by Lisa Vinzant is a cultivar of Neoregelia ‘Punctate Red’ x pascoliana. An upright grower in funnel shape, apple green with strong red banding below and slightly less above. The red banding tends to merge towards the base, especially in older plants, and it develops an overall gray wash on the leaf undersides. Leaves are moderately stiff with medium spines on the margins.

A relatively new species from Brazil. Dark green leaves with numerous tiny speckles. The tube is more flat than round. it has a upright tight tube with flaring tips. The end of the leaves lay flat. Offsets are produced on long stolons. Does best in a hanging pot or mounted.

A 2021 release from Chester Skotak. If you like spots and speckles this one is for you! The 2.5 inch wide overlapping green leaves have wide white margins. The veneer is glossy red the has numerous white spots and speckles that can be seen on both side of the leaves. Matures at 20 inchs across.
