A nicely variegated form of the well known 'ZZ' plant. A strange but beautiful caudex-forming aroid from Kenya has 3 inch, shiny-green leaflets arranged distichously along bottle-shaped stems, giving a Cycad-like appearance. An easy grower that is good as a houseplant, for shaded landscapes or terrariums when small. An aroid that has few characteristics that would remind one of that fact. Native to West Africa, it grows in a variety of conditions from fairly wet and tropical to seasonally dry. It is drought tolerant, but enjoys a more or less 'normal' regimen of watering with some well draining mix. Bright indirect light to very strong light is acceptable.
