A Florida native and Florida’s only endemic bromeliad. Needle-like leaves to about 14 inches long give the plant the grassy shape of Til. juncea, but the plants are unrelated. The inflorescence is simple to slightly branched and a deep rose pink with blue flowers. Found naturally in most counties of central Florida.
