Mark Dimmitt's hybrid of (recurvifolia x albertiana) is one of several similar hybrids in a series. This one has very stiff, silvery, upright leaves on a short stem. The flowers are rather spectacular, open corollas about a half inch or more across, carmine red or orangish in color, in a cluster at the top of the short inflorescence. This plant will form clumps and will grow well mounted or even just hanging from a string. A choice little plant to delight any Tillandsia fancier.
