A striking variegated clone of a Guatemalan form of ionantha. This form of ionantha can grow to over two inches tall with a nice upright shape. The plants are typically light green with silvery trichomes and this clone has longitudinal white stripes on the leaves. At anthesis it blushes red on the top leaves with blue flowers.
As with most variegated Tillandsias these are slow growing and occasionally there are offsets that are not variegated, but on the whole it does very well and the variegation has persisted for years.
