A Ray Coleman hybrid created here at Tropiflora is an unusual and large grower. (The parentage was not reported) Until anthesis the plant has an upright vase shape with leaves up to 3.5 inches wide. The base color is green with creamy-white albomargination, it quickly develops a bronzy veneer giving the leaves an olive tone to somewhat brassy-metallic.
The leaves terminate in a red apiculate tip. At anthesis the center cup blushes an unusual color of coppery-rose and lasts in good color for many months. Leaf margins have small, harmless spines.
